Fantasia Needs Forgiveness? For What?
Having a child out of so-called wedlock?
Who establish this moral code?
It is certainly not the Early Christians; the great grandmaster Solomon or King David before him.
And,
here is a shocker:
we tend to see the exact things in others that subconsciously exist in ourselves. So if one is a worthwhile person, that how one will view others. If one is a negative person, one will see negative traits in the holiest of saints. This finding would explain why Fantasia's performance of 'summertime' would be irritating to the musically challenged.

What is Success?
Herman Melville died penniless yet forty years after his death, the sales of his life's work ran into millions of dollars. He strived, without reward, all is life to be the best writer that he could possibly be. And no expert who read Moby Dick can honesty say that he did not relatively achieve that goal. Yet because he did not reap the financial reward during his lifetime, did this mean that he was a failure? Of course not! So what then is failure?
The only real failures are those who refuse to make the efforts to succeed, to stop trying, to throw in the towel, to give up at the slightest indication of discouragement or set backs.
With that $20 in her pocket, in the face of discouragement and rejections and no guarantee of a brighter tomorrow, Fantasia risked it all with courage and determination that could only have come from within; like a knocked down underdog with only one feasible direction and that is to raise and raise she did.
If she had been rejected at her audition, like Herman Melville, who strive all his life, by giving the best that was in him to give, she would have been a shining example, a champion among us all.
As I understand, when Fantasia left her home, in pursuit of the enterprise of her dream with only a borrowed pittance, she told her father that she wasn't coming home without the American Idol title. That's boldness! That's courage! That's commitment! And that was when she won!
That's the real Reason why she won.
And so Fantasia, I salute you! Congratulations not only because you won the prize but also because, in the face of despair and discouragement, you believe; willing to do whatever it took. In the sprit of humility and personal integrity, amidst discouragement and disappointments, you remained committed to the course that you had chosen.

And so, every bizarre event, related to the 2004 American Idol competition took place for a definite purpose: to benefit you, to humble you and ultimately, to bring into physical reality what, unknowingly, you had already won in your mind.
My support, from day one, is no coincidence. It is my mystical duty.
Once again, congratulation, you are an inspiration to us all.
